Background

Prior to joining King & Navins, Heather practiced in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, taxation, and real estate at firms in downtown Boston and outside of the city in a suburban setting.  During law school she served as Executive Literary Editor of the New England Law Review and her Note, Instead of Asking “When,” Ask “How”: Why the Rule Against Perpetuities Should Not Apply to Rights of First Refusal was published in Spring 2010.  Heather earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2011, and she is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  Heather lives in Maynard with her husband and two cats.
